Travelling was not my thing.
Although I really have the passion and I would like to but going to different places is hard for me; it costs money, time and effort. Besides I am still a student and not yet earning for a living.
But as I surf the internet an article caught my eyes and with that words I am enlightened. I opened my eyes and try to comprehend what was running on my mind; what I want to do and see was all around me the whole time – to travel Isabela!
So today, I’ve prepared myself for a fun-filled trip on some great places here in the province. Oh, and I also charged my phone for my selfies!

Our Lady of the Visitation
Most Filipinos grew up in a religious family, thanks to Spaniards who inculcated on our minds and hearts to have fear in God.
National Shrine of Our Lady of Visitation is very unique and beautiful at the same time because of its beautiful dome, which is I think only one here in Isabela.

When you walk inside, you will be welcomed by the peaceful ambiance preserve for those who want to experience faith-enriching reflections and prayers.
The interior design of the church too is undeniably beautiful too.

After making closer ties with God, outside, you will see how rich business here is.
How I met Bebang in this Adventure (Poor Clare Monastery)
After satisfying myself walking and wandering around the National Shrine of Our Lady of Visitation. I went next to a nearby church which is very beautiful and peaceful too. This church is called 'Poor Clare Monastery'.
Before entering this lovely church run by nuns I met two children, they're siblings, and they asked me if I can buy some of their products. And because they are cute and looks so innocent I bought some.
After having a little chit chat with the children I unmindfuly looked at the other side of the road and I see Bebang, she waved her hand to me and I did the same as well. I talk to her over the road, funny though, if she can join me in my adventure which she luckily agreed without second thoughts.
The Biggest Butaka (Rocking Chair) in the Philippines
After our adventure in the Municipality of Gamu, we decided to have our next adventure stop in the home of the biggest butaka in the country - City of Ilagan.
We decided to travel using a public utility vehicle - jeepney, where the fare going to our next adventure spot is so cheap. And with this vehicle we enjoyed the trip because there are many beautiful sceneries on the way.
The beautiful architecture of the Department of Agriculture - Isabela Experiment Station (with amazing and colorful windmills that pumps water), the mighty Camp Melchor F. Dela Cruz, the grandious St. Michael Cathedral and on the way to the metro you will be welcomed by the walls of Ilagan with curved history of the city on it.
FINALLY! We have arrived to our destination and we really enjoyed ourselves the opportunity of taking a lot of selfies with the butaka so that we can brag to our friends and relatives that we have been in that amazing and one of a kind place.
